I am a storyteller through mixed media. I use everyday and found objects to create my intuitive works of art. I use vibrant colors and three-dimensional layers to create new realities. Whether representational or abstract, my work evokes a sense of order and meaning amid disparate elements.
I have been an artist all my life. My first "decoupage", the sixties term for collage, was an ice cream carton trash can covered with glued magazine pictures. After a print-making class at Penland School of Arts and Crafts in North Carolina, I evolved into my current mixed media style.
I have shown art in many states, received various awards and have art in private collections throughout the U.S. I offer private lessons and commissions. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
